The rules can be exceptionally loose here.

It has to be a production motor in a production car. No ALMS, NASCAR, WEC, etc etc etc. Gotta be a motor sitting in a car sitting in a showroom that I can go write a cheque for today or from the used lot.

It can however be modified. Exhausts, headers, downpipes, catless, pulleys, intakes; anything goes on that front.

What is the most insane sounding, production (and modified to whatever degree) V8 you can come up with?

I present the supercharged Northstar from the STS-V that has had some money thrown at it in the pulley and exhaust and everything else departments.

Decatted C63 AMG or the M156! I don't know why but in the SLS AMG, the engine doesn't sound quite as nice. In the C63 it is perfect.

Well its a good clip for just that, but good. the first gen SC needs more love. btw I did the same thing to my exhaust(when I had the car) as this guy, remove 2 resonators & 2 mufflers. Not the fastest car but damn does it sound good.

I was concidering this but it will be super loud(louder than the Invidia which was already very droney) and illegal, although most cops don't care. Also what the hell is up with his shift knob?

V8 in everything but name. Honda NR oval-piston V-4, 32V. It's impossible to find videos of someone wailing on the NR500 race bike, which has a redline of 20k (!).

My exhaust was like that for 2 years and when I did get pulled over the cops never mentioned the lack of exhaust! But I see your point, after a few hours on the highway with it, I would put headphones on. I loved it 95% of the time, but those other 5% were terrible.

Tacky is what it is. Although I would rock one, if I didn't take myself so seriously.

I probably won't get a muffler delete, just because I want some sort of power gain. Since I have a small NA engine, the exhaust might be 5 to 10 hp(the exhaust I am looking it has put down 7hp consistently). Call me crazy, but I need power. . . AT DAH WHEELS!

I miss my old 65 I think this is one of the best sounding V8's. Rough, unrefined, and can be had with a 4 barrel
